The Cleveland Water Alliance (CWA) coordinates a growing network of corporations, universities, research institutions, public agencies, and utilities dedicated to the expansion of the region’s water innovation ecosystem, or “blue economy”: an emergent economic sector dedicated to the sustainable stewardship of bodies of freshwater around the globe through innovation. With our network partners, CWA seeks to accelerate innovation, increase collaborative research, advocate for sound policy, and educate stakeholders and the public on freshwater preservation in general, and the vitality of Lake Erie in particular.
