Accelerate Your Advocacy: A Workshop on Delivering Public Comments

Do you want to get involved in local advocacy? Public comments are a great place to start! This workshop will give you the tools to advocate through delivering public comments to your city council, local commissions, state legislatures, or other local governmental bodies. You will hear from fellow STEM professionals who have gone through the process of advocating for issues they are passionate about. Through hands-on activities, we will walk through finding opportunities to deliver public comments, how to prepare, and what to expect when you’re in the room. By the end of the workshop, you will be ready to make your voice heard!
