In June 2026, a warehouse storing frozen foods, operated by Lineage Logistics, burned down in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. In the aftermath of this event, residents are experiencing strong odors and presence of pests due to the rotting food that remains on site, concerns about air pollutants and environmental contamination, and continued economic impacts due to the unpleasant conditions. ESAL is leading an effort to gather information and resources into an asset map to share with community groups taking part in the recovery efforts. We need your help to make this project a success.Â
Join us as we plan for our contribution to community recovery efforts following the fire at the Lineage Logistics factory in LA. We will be contributing to an asset map of expertise we can offer and determining our project timeline.
