Advocate for a Policy with State Legislators or Legislative Staff

Do you want to advocate for a new policy or demonstrate your support for existing policy at the state level? Hear from fellow STEM professionals who have experience serving as a state legislative staff member and an elected state representative. We will walk through a hands-on activity for you to find opportunities to engage with your state legislators and their staffs, learn how to prepare, and understand how to make the most of your meetings. By the end of the workshop, you will have a plan and the tools to make a difference in your state!
